I have designed my portfolio site as if you and I were sitting together and I had the chance to talk you through my work. Some of my work needs a little background: I'd want you to understand the task and resources I was given and how I solved the problem. My business graphics and diagrams entail spending a lot of time with the client: I have learned that If I can't understand what a client is trying to relay, that it would be impossible for me to succeed. I listen and ask questions until I understand it so I can make the images comprehensible to a lay person. These illustrations and diagrams can take multiple iterations as we hone the client's message. I pull out my tool kit of color, symbolism, process, flow, experience and a knowledge of what will "read" the way they intend it to.
